Finnlines is a leading provider of freight and passenger services in the Baltic and North Seas, connecting Finland, Sweden, Åland, and Central Europe. We have been driving the development of Finnlines.com for years. Initially, we set out to solve the rigidity of their old Drupal site: maintenance was difficult, navigation was complex, and the site didn’t adequately serve its three distinct user groups – passengers, freight professionals, and stakeholders. We rebuilt the entire platform on WordPress, leveraging the flexible Gutenberg editor. We built dedicated, clear user paths for each target audience alongside an intuitive structure that reflects the Finnlines brand. Thanks to the modular design, the marketing team can now set up new campaign pages quickly. To ensure the site runs smoothly even during significant traffic spikes, we utilized the Cloudflare content delivery network.

The website renewal was just the beginning of our partnership. We have continuously developed the service since launch, supporting major milestones like the introduction of new passenger ships.
