A website that evolves with the business

Our long-standing partnership with Qt covers the qt.io website, which runs on HubSpot. The collaboration began with a full website renewal, when we moved the site from WordPress to HubSpot. What started as a redesign has grown into an ongoing retainer, where we keep developing the site together with Qt’s marketing team.

the starting point

Qt is a global software company. With its cross-platform tools, including Qt Framework, Qt Creator and Qt Design Studio, developers can use a single codebase to build anything from ship dashboards to mobile apps. The tools are used in industries such as automotive and industrial automation.

The migration to HubSpot gave qt.io a modern look, a solid technical foundation and access to HubSpot’s marketing automation. The content, however, did not yet reflect Qt’s offering clearly. Views within the company differed on which products were essential and how Qt should present itself, and this was visible on the site.

We started by clarifying the core of Qt’s brand and product offering. Together with Qt’s management and marketing team, we built a framework for what the brand stands for and how its products should be presented. We defined user personas and target groups around Qt’s design, develop and deploy categories, and restructured the content so that each audience can easily find the products relevant to them.

We also built tools that help visitors assess Qt’s products on their own. The ROI calculator, based on Forrester’s Total Economic Impact study of Qt, estimates a company’s annual savings from the number of developers and devices sold. The Qt Features page lets users filter products by feature.

the solution

Over the past year, our work has focused on three goals: clearer navigation, more room for content and less manual maintenance.

A new front page, navigation and modules: We built a completely new front page and global navigation, with separate navigations for each product. We also created a wide range of new modules for the site, and integrated it with LearnUpon, Qt’s learning platform, including a template for the course catalogue.

Software Insights and the Qt blog: Qt’s long-running developer blog is written by engineers for engineers. Qt also needed a channel for broader articles on development, software quality, security, design and industry trends. We built Software Insights for this purpose and refreshed the Qt blog alongside it. Both launched in early 2026.

Software Insights groups articles under five topics and is designed for long technical reads. Article pages include an expandable table of contents, estimated read time, syntax highlighting for code samples and a newsletter signup. Readers can search articles within the blog, and the templates support multiple languages. On both blogs, editors can add the site’s content modules, such as videos, image galleries and calls to action, to posts without custom code.

Open positions from Greenhouse: The careers page retrieves job postings from the Greenhouse Job Board API and stores them in a HubDB table. Scheduled syncs update the listing only when changes are detected. New positions are published automatically and filled roles are removed, so the listing stays accurate without manual maintenance.

Today, Qt runs:

  • Rich articles with videos, galleries and calls to action, published without custom code
  • Two blogs on one platform: the Qt developer blog and Software Insights
  • An automated careers listing that stays up to date with Greenhouse

the impact

Building the site on HubSpot has given Qt’s team a wide range of options for creating, automating and distributing content from one platform. Qt’s team has also found HubSpot to be a more flexible CMS than they expected.

“We have worked with Evermade’s HubSpot team for several years. We are especially grateful for the speed and flexibility of their service. The Evermade team feels more like an extension of our own team than a partner agency.”
