Digital Hall of Fame

Tahto, the Center for Finnish Sports Culture, is the home of Finnish sports, with a Hall of Fame featuring over 90 sports heroes. To solve the challenge of limited exhibition space, we built multilingual, interactive touch screen application that allows visitors to dive deep into the athletes and stories that interest them most. The app makes the museum visit more personal and encourages visitors to spend more time at the exhibition. We designed the interface with accessibility at its core, ensuring a seamless digital experience for every visitor. To guarantee maximum reliability, we developed a local solution powered by headless WordPress and React, ensuring the app works perfectly even without an internet connection. The result is an easily updatable and accessible digital exhibition that truly resonates with the audience: between January and April, the exhibition welcomed 14,500 visitors.
