The Deaconess Foundation works to ensure a life of human dignity for all. We have been developing their online services since 2018. Following their recent strategy update, we completely revamped their website. We kicked off the project with service design and workshops, which laid the foundation for the new structure and visual identity. While we kept the familiar WordPress platform, we significantly improved the site’s usability to better reflect the organization’s new strategy and values.

We handled both the design and technical implementation according to strict WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility criteria, and we integrated Siteimprove for continuous accessibility monitoring. Together with the client, we also ensured a smooth content migration. As a result, the Deaconess Foundation now has a modern, clear, and easy-to-maintain online service that supports their valuable work.
